I tried the 4K video feature on a weekend trip and loved seeing the footage from my own point of view. I could keep my hands free and enjoy the moment while recording it. The stabilised footage is a fun way to save a memory.

The companion app gives me one place to check my gallery and manage camera, microphone and notification settings. I like the cloud sync, device-finding option and supported wireless updates too. The controls make the glasses feel more personal.

I enjoy trying local food, but I often get stuck on an unfamiliar menu. I can look at the text and ask Vision One to translate it. The same feature helps with signs and short instructions when I’m travelling.

I expected to use the camera occasionally, but it has become one of my favourite parts of the glasses. When I’m walking, cooking or spending time with friends, pulling out a phone changes the moment. Taking a hands-free photo or recording a short video from my own point of view feels more immediate. The 8 MP photos are handy for quick memories, and the 4K video gives me a detailed record of things I want to revisit later. I particularly like being able to start a capture without juggling my phone. I wouldn’t replace a dedicated camera for planned photography, but that’s not why I bought these. They’re for the moments that happen before I’m ready.

There’s a lot here for the price. After a few weeks of use, I didn’t expect much, but got more than I thought. The open-ear audio makes calls sound good. While traveling, I’ve found the translation feature useful. Battery life varies with how much recording I do.

I was most interested in live translation because part of my family speaks a language I’m still learning. The first time I used the glasses during a conversation, I appreciated being able to follow translated captions while still looking at the person speaking. It felt less awkward than passing a phone back and forth. I also tried the spoken translation option when I needed to reply. It isn’t a substitute for learning the language, and I still ask people to repeat themselves when a phrase is unclear. But it helps me stay involved instead of losing the thread of the conversation. That difference matters more to me than any impressive-sounding specification.

They’re worth the money! It offers a surprising amount for the money.

My colleague sometimes speaks to clients in a language I don’t know. Live translated captions help me follow the main points while I keep looking at the people in the room. It feels much more natural than staring down at an app.

I used to worry about missing something while taking notes. Recording and transcription let me focus on the discussion, then check the wording afterward. I still ask everyone before recording and review the transcript before I rely on it.

The AI assistant feels most useful when I ask it about something right in front of me. I’ve used it to get context about an unfamiliar plant, understand a product label and learn more about a piece of artwork. That feels different from typing a vague description into a search box: I can look at the thing and ask a natural follow-up question. I also like being able to choose whether I see an answer or hear it. I treat recognition as a starting point and verify anything consequential, but for everyday curiosity it’s genuinely enjoyable. The glasses encourage me to notice things and learn a little more about them.

I get distracted when I have to keep checking a map on my phone. The visual navigation cues let me look ahead and see where I’m going. I still plan the route on my phone, but following it feels easier with the glasses.

I’m happy with this purchase. Lens navigation is surprisingly useful.

I used the glasses to read a product label and ask what one of the terms meant. It was quicker than trying to type the whole label into my phone. I like having a starting point before I compare products or decide what to buy.

I took my Vision One Glasses on a weekend motorcycle ride. The navigation helped me stay on route, and I could listen to music along the way. When I stopped at a scenic spot, I took photos and recorded a quick video without digging out my phone. It was fun having all of that in one pair of glasses

I originally thought I would use the glasses mostly for travel, but they have been surprisingly helpful at work. During a meeting, I want to listen to people rather than spend the whole time trying to write down every sentence. Recording and transcription give me something to return to afterward, while the summary helps me find the decisions and action items. I still review the notes before sharing them, because names and technical terms deserve a human check. The useful part is that I can leave a meeting with a clearer idea of what needs doing next. For someone who regularly moves between conversations, notes and reminders, that has become a practical everyday feature.

The photochromic lenses are a practical touch. They get darker outside in bright light and clearer when I go back indoors. I like being able to wear the same pair through different parts of my day.

Pairing the glasses with my phone was straightforward, and I check the battery in the app before leaving home. They handle my usual mix of calls, navigation and quick photos. For longer days, I’d consider the separately sold charging case. I keep them out of heavy water, although they handle everyday splashes.

I didn’t expect reading assistance to be one of my regular uses, but it solves a very ordinary problem. Labels, instructions and notices often have tiny text, and it’s inconvenient to find better lighting or take a photo just to zoom in. With Vision One, I can ask for help reading or explaining what I’m looking at. Translation is useful when the instructions are in another language, while the visual display helps when I want to see the information for myself. I wouldn’t rely on an AI explanation alone for medical or safety instructions, but for routine packaging and everyday information, it saves me a surprising amount of effort.

The meeting summary helps me find the decisions and next steps without reading a full transcript. I can turn an action item into a reminder and find my notes later in the app. It makes the follow-up much less messy.

I like having the more advanced settings in the companion app. I can check the battery, review my photos and recordings, and adjust which features I want to use instead of leaving everything on by default. The camera, microphone, notifications and connected features feel easier to manage when their controls are in one place. I also appreciate being able to keep captured material organised and receive supported software updates. Battery life depends on what I’m doing, especially if I record a lot of video, so I check the charge before heading out. I’m considering the separately sold charging case for longer days, but the glasses already fit comfortably into my normal phone-and-app routine.

I recorded a little bit of our weekend trip in 4K. Watching it back feels different from a phone video because it shows what I was looking at. The footage stayed pretty steady while I walked, too.

What you get for the price is the biggest draw. After trying them out, i commute a lot and wanted less phone time. I’m a retail associate and I’ve been using them in the grocery aisle. I feel more comfortable using them around people because I can adjust the no-record zones options. Quick questions are easy to handle even when I’m moving. Ordering at a restaurant was easier with real-time translation; I hadn’t expected translation to be so useful.

I was carrying groceries when I spotted something I wanted to film. I asked the glasses to start recording instead of reaching for my phone. That simple voice control is one of the features I now use most.

I’m always curious about things I see outdoors. Now I can look at an unfamiliar plant or object and ask the AI assistant about it, then ask another question. I can see or hear the reply. I double-check anything important, but it’s a lovely way to learn as I go.

My dog did something hilarious on our walk, and for once I actually got the photo. I didn’t have to fish my phone out of my pocket. I just used the glasses’ camera and kept walking.

I’m particular about how eyewear feels. I’m a college student and I’ve been using them at my kid’s game. The turn-by-turn in your view keeps directions in sight when I’m on the move. I would have guessed it cost more. I feel more comfortable using them around people because I can adjust the privacy blur options. Calls work well with dual-mic noise reduction, and the audio surprised me in a good way.

On a city walk, I used spoken directions and asked about a landmark I passed. I also checked a price in my own currency while shopping nearby. Getting those small answers without stopping to search made the day easier.

They look ordinary but have plenty of features.

I would have guessed it cost more. I’m a teacher and I’ve been testing these on a weekend road trip. I didn’t expect to rely on translation, but real-time translation took the pressure off when I ordered at a restaurant. At work, I use meeting notes to remember decisions later. I spend less time staring at a map because lens navigation puts directions where I need them. Quick questions are easy to handle even when I’m moving.

I’ve tried similar products. I didn’t expect to use them daily, but I do. Navigation overlay is surprisingly useful.

Some packaging seems designed for people with perfect eyesight. I can ask Vision One to help read, enlarge or explain the small text in front of me. It’s a small feature, but I appreciate it almost every week.

I listen to music and podcasts on my walk to work. With the glasses, I can control playback and still hear the world around me. I use headphones when I want to block everything out, but this setup suits a normal walk.

For me, translating written text is almost as useful as translating speech. On a trip, the difficult moments are often small ones: a sign at a station, instructions on a ticket machine or a menu with no English version. Being able to look at text and ask the glasses to help me understand it makes those moments less stressful. I also like that I can ask a follow-up question if a direct translation doesn’t explain what something means. I still double-check anything important, especially prices or travel details, but I no longer have to stop, unlock my phone and copy every unfamiliar phrase into an app.

When I’m between appointments, it’s helpful to hear a message and dictate a quick reply. I can also check email without taking my phone out for every notification. I save longer replies for later, but short updates are easy to handle.

Even after just a few days, I work as an event planner and I’ve been testing these in a noisy coffee shop. I appreciate the privacy controls. I feel more comfortable using them around other people. Checking product labels with photo recognition has saved me time. Getting answers to questions without stopping is surprisingly handy. The turn-by-turn in your view keeps directions in sight when I’m on the move. It feels more expensive than it is. Quick point-of-view photos and videos feel effortless with the POV camera, since my phone can stay in my pocket.

I took a call while making dinner and didn’t need to hold my phone or put earbuds in. The open-ear audio let me hear the conversation while staying aware of what was happening around me. That’s exactly the kind of everyday convenience I wanted.

I bought the Vision One glasses mainly for a trip, and navigation turned out to be the feature I used most. In an unfamiliar city, I usually walk with my phone in my hand, checking the map at every intersection. With directions available through the glasses, I could keep looking at the streets around me. I liked being able to switch between visual guidance and spoken directions depending on where I was. The landmark information was a nice surprise too: it gave me a reason to stop and pay attention to places I might otherwise have walked past. I still checked my phone when planning a longer route, but for following it on foot, the glasses made the experience feel much more natural.
